Ruth Ann Exsted

Ruth Ann Exsted, age 73 of Brainerd died on August 6, 2021 at Bethany Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd. She was born in Helen Township, MN on March 4, 1948 to Benjamin and Jenella (Adams) Rolf.  Ruth Ann married Robert Exsted on October 14, 1967 in Glencoe, MN.  She was a retired employee of the Crosby-Ironton Courier, and was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby.

Ruth Ann is survived by three sons, Jim (Trish) Exsted of Brainerd, Dan (Deb) Exsted of Deerwood and Steve (Molly) Exsted of Monticello; one sister, Faye Miller of Brownton; five brothers-in-law, Richard (Chris) Exsted, Randall (Sue) Exsted, Dale (Sandy) Exsted, Doug Exsted and Dean (Lynn) Exsted; and six grandchildren; Madisen, Sophia, Beau, Jake, Cole and Vivian.

Preceding Ruth Ann in death are her parents; her husband Bob in 2004; and one brother David Rolf.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 12, 2021 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby.  Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby.  A visitation will be held at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.
