Ruth Quade

Ruth JoAnn Quade, age 90, of Crosby, passed away on June 17, 2026, at the Heartwood Care Center in Crosby. She was born in Minneota, MN on December 19, 1935 to Edward and Amy (Salfisberg) Kormann. Ruth was united in marriage to Robert Quade on June 15, 1957 in Truman, Minnesota.

Ruth was a retired LPN with 40 years of service. Her employment includes: Miller Hospital in St. Paul; Watonwan County Memorial in St. James, MN; Burlington Nursing Home in Burlington, CO; Truman Nursing Home in Truman, MN and the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby.

Ruth was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Crosby.

Ruth is survived by three sons, Steven (Renee Gilmore) Quade, Ryan (Bonnie) Quade and Cory (Krista) Quade; one sister, Colleen Wheelock of Buenavista, CO; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Preceding Ruth in death are her parents, her husband, Robert, and one brother, Richard Kormann.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, June 22, 2026, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Crosby. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Burial will be at the Bay Lake Cemetery in Bay Lake Township. If desired memorials are preferred to the Zion Lutheran Church in Crosby. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
