Shelly Rono, age 56 of St. Paul died October 23, 2020. She was born on August 12, 1964 in Brooklyn, New York. She graduated from the Crosby-Ironton High School class of 1982.
She is preceded in death by her step-father, LeRoy Bellefeuille.
Shelly is survived by her daughter, Flora (Chris Mitchell) Cross; mother, Sharon Bellefeuille; brother, Clarence “Clary” Laffin; two grandchildren, Avi and Ari; sister-in-law, Linnea (Tom Hallin) Laffin and nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Gathering will be on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. A reception will follow at Myrin-James American Legion Post in Ironton.
