Shirley M Meyer

Shirley M. Meyer, age 88 of Cuyuna, passed away on September 5, 2026 at Golden Horizons in Aitkin. She was born on April 14, 1938 in Willow River, MN to Basil and Lillian

(Randall) Doonan Sr. Shirley was a retired 3M employee with 30 years of service.

Shirley is survived by her two sons, Gregory (Kathy) Meyer of Crosby, Mark (Terry) Meyer of Spring Lake Park; her daughter, Belinda Meyer of Cuyuna; one sister, Rose Seeley of Crosby; sister-in-law,

Jan Doonan of Deerwood; four grandchildren, Amanda (Matthew) Spatafore, Amie (Patty) Tatosian, Ashley (Eddy DeCent) Meyer; and Alexis Slater; ten great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; her traveling friend, Judy Wells-Durigan of Oak Park Heights and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding Shirley in death are her parents; husband of 32 years, Duane Meyer; three brothers, James Cook, Bob Doonan and Al Doonan; four sisters, Flora Warp, Betty Booth, Eleanor Isle and Judy Doonan; one great grandchild; and special friend Russ Peterson.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
