Stephen Joseph Eisenreich

Stephen J. Eisenreich, age 72 of Crosslake died on July 18, 2021 at his home.  He was born on July 19, 1948 in St. Cloud to Joseph and Angeline (Nothnagel) Eisenreich.  Steve married Jane Johnson on December 17, 2012 in Crosslake.  He was a founding partner of Homeless and Wounded Warriors in Minnesota.  Steve was a retired Clinical Social Worker at the VA Health Care System in St. Cloud.

He is survived by his wife Jane; two step sons, Jon Turkula of Park City, Utah and Stefan (Janet) Turkula of Wilmington, NY; three sisters, Sandra Fairchild of Lakewood, CO, Maureen Ravnik of Littleton, CO and Ellen Eisenreich of Ironton; one grandso, Leif Turkula.

Preceding Steve in death are his parents; and one brother Bruce Eisenreich.

A Graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. September 17, 2021 at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery with full military honors. Following the service there will be a reception at the Crosslake American Legion Post.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
