Steven Daniel Blomberg

Steven Daniel Blomberg age 73 of Emily passed away on Friday, September 16, 2016 at the St. Cloud Hospital. Steve was born on July 15, 1943 in Deerwood to Ralph and Verna (Wilson) Blomberg. He attended school in Crosby.
Steve married ReNae Fortune in 1966 and they had five daughters together. He later married Alice Norris in 1980 in Vancouver, WA. Steve worked hard all of his life, farming as a boy, truck driving, logging, selling scrap iron and running his repair shop the Emily Fix-It Shop.
Steve is survived by is wife of 36 years, Alice; his daughters, Penni (Kevin) Dotzler of Deerwood, Sheli (Fred Lambert) Schwegel of Backus, Kristi Cockman of Baxter; a brother, Roger (Margie) Blomberg of Nisswa; sisters, Joyce Shaw of Salem, OR, Carol (Norman) Habedank of Ashland, WI, Colleen (Eddie) Nelson of Belle Fourche, SD, and Deb (Buzz) Anderson of Ironton; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Preceding Steve in death are his parents; two daughters, Jodi Blomberg and Misti Blomberg and a great granddaughter, Molli.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at the Wesleyan Church in Emily. Burial will be at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.0p
