Theodore "Tom" Heglund

Theodore “Tom” Heglund age 69 of Crosby died on April 16, 2017 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. He was born on August 10, 1947 in Crosby to Theodore and Sylvia (Austin) Heglund. He graduated from the Crosby-Ironton High School, class of 1965. Tom married Kathy Jo Cyrus in Crosby on June 29, 1979. He was a retired realtor with Kinney Reality and North Country Reality.
Tom is survived by his wife, Kathy Jo; two sons, Ted (Kari) Heglund of Grand Prairie, TX and Garrett Heglund of Pequot Lake; one daughter, Holly (Tony) Smith of Plano, TX; two brothers, Paul (Deanna) Heglund and Mike (Sue) Heglund all of Crosby; and three grandchildren, Aryn Smith, Theo Heglund IV and Zoe Smith.
Preceding Tom in death are his parents.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the Cascade United Methodist Church in Deerwood. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services at the church on Tuesday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
