Therese A. "Terri" Pederson

Therese 'Terri" Bergh Pederson age 63 of Outing died peacefully surrounded by her family on March 18, 2016. Terri was born on April 25, 1952 in St. Paul to Howard and Eilene (Stokke) Bergh. She graduated from St. Paul Johnson High School in 1970 and graduated from Gustavus Adolpuhus College in 1974. On November 19, 1977 she married Barry Pederson of Wilmar, Minnesota. Over the years, Terri and Barry lived in St. Paul, Milwaukee, Owatonna, then were long-term Roseville residents and most recently moved to Outing, Minnesota. Terri was an educator, a passionate lifelong student of politics, history and current events. She worked for the Minnesota 2nd Judicial District Court for over 20 years. Terri was a loving, generous mother and wife, a devoted friend, and a gracious host and caregiver. She was also a lover of dachshunds and an avid Bruce Springsteen fan. Birch Bay on Lake Washburn was her special place, where she relished time with family and friends, including lively conversations around the campfire. Terri was predeceased by her parents and both maternal and paternal grandparents. She is survived by her husband, Barry; daughter Ingrid and her husband Jeremiah O'Keefe V and their son Jeremiah VI, and daughter Krista Pederson; sister Susan Bergh, her son, Joren Thompson; sister Julie Bergh Penk, her husband, Dean; brother, Douglas Bergh, his children Heather, Kelley, Erin &Gregory; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Eileen & Carl Lund, their 2 daughters Ilsa & Erika; many cousins, great nieces and nephews, and puppy Stella. The family would like to thank the caring staff at Golden Horizons and Cummings Treasured Time. A memorial service to celebrate Terri's life will be held at 4:00 pm on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Ruttger's Bay Lake Lodge. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. If so desired memorials are preferred to Alzheimer's Association, Heartland Hospice. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
