Thomas James Blood

Thomas James “Tom” Blood, age 81 of Ironton passed away on October 3, 2024 at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby.  He was born in Canby on October 30, 1942 to Miles and Margaret (Elie) Blood.

Tom was the kind of guy who believed in working hard and helping people in need. He was the most kind, big hearted person we knew.  He loved his family and friends unconditionally.

Tom is survived by five sons, Scott (Denise) Blood of East Gull Lake, Robert (Sandy) Blood of Brainerd, Jamie Blood of Virginia, Jason (Nikol) Blood of Nowthen and Craig (Shannon Larson) Blood of Brainerd; one daughter, Tamara Blood of Crosby; twenty grandchildren and thirty-two great grandchildren.

Preceding Tom in death are his parents; one brother, Charles Blood and two sisters, Janet Anseeuw and Joanne Borchard.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 14, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
