Thomas J. Burt

Thomas J. Burt, age 90 of Bay Lake died on December 22, 2020.  He was born on September 22, 1930 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to Howard and Lenore Burt.  Tom was a US Navy Korean War Veteran. He was employed with Electoral Jobbers Equipment Inc. with 40 years of service.  Serving as the president of the company when he retired.  He was a life member of the North Central Electric League; past president of the Minneapolis Engineer’s Club, and a past member and treasurer of the Bay Lake Area Lions Club.

Tom is survived by his daughter, Ann Burt of Minneapolis, his son, John Burt of Colorado; and his grandson, Andrew Burt of Toronto, Canada.

Preceding Tom in death are his parents, his wife, Barbara and his sister, Colleen.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the Bay Lake Township Cemetery with full military honors given by the Walter Scott Erickson American Legion Post #557 of Deerwood.  Arrangement are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
