Thomas Joseph Reider age 90 of Garrison died on September 26, 2017 at the Mille Lacs Health Systems in Onamia. He was born on October 8, 1926 in St. Paul to John and Ellen (Thompson) Reider. Tom was a member of the Garrison VFW and the Color Guard.
Tom is survived by two daughters, Helen Montefort of Garrison and Corrine Hartezeld of Lodi, NJ; one step son, Patrick McGrath of Merrimack, NH; and one brother, Robert (Marty) Reider of New Windsor, Maryland.
Preceding Tom in death are his parents; his wife Dorothy; one son, Tom Reider; one step daughter, Elaine Braco and one brother, John Reider.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Monday, October 2, 2017 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Burial will be at the Garrison Community Cemetery with full military honors given by the Garrison VFW. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Monday.
