Timothy Andrew Klein

Timothy A. Klein, age 76 of Merrifield, passed away on October 20, 2026 in Hugo, MN. He was born on July 25, 1950 in St. Paul to Julian and Irene (Otto) Klein.

He was formerly from New Brighton and Anoka, moving to the Crosslake area in 1980.

Tim married Mary Sheridan on August 24, 1973 in Minneapolis. He a U.S. Marine Corp veteran and member and past Commander of the Crosslake American Legion Post #500. Tim was a retired owner and operator of Bald Eagle Service in Merrifield. He was a very active member and former custodian for the Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in Crosslake.

Tim is survived by his wife, Mary; his sister, Kathy (Wayne) Shustrom of Waconia; sister-in-law, Mary Klein of Blaine and beloved nieces and nephews.

Preceding Tim in death are his parents; and one brother, Ken Klein.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 14, 2026 at the Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in Crosslake. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls on Monday, November 16th with full military honors. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
