Vernon Jonas Nyberg

Vernon Jonas Nyberg, age 62 of International Falls, passsed away on October 31, 2025 at Aspius St. Luke’s Medical Hospital in Duluth. He was born on November 26, 1962 in Bemidji to Walter and Nyla (Dennis) Nyberg. Vernon was baptized into Christ on May 9, 1971.

Vernon is survived by three brothers, Dennis (Gerry) Nyberg, Gary (Susan) Nyberg and Robert (Marie) Nyberg; four sisters, Kathy (Michael) Mohs, Vicky Nyberg, Wendy Nyberg and Patti (Steve) Wasserzieher and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Vernon in death are his parents.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Saturday. Burial will be at the Mizpah Cemetery in Mizpah at 2:00 p.m.
