Virginia Gail (Davis) Stealy, of Brainerd formerly of Crosby passed away on October 4, 2024 at Woodland Good Samaritan in Brainerd. She was born on September 19th,1929 to Tom and Gail (Wheeler) Davis in Deerwood. She blessed us with her spirit for 95 years on this Earth. She is now celebrating in Heaven with Jesus and her loved ones who have gone on before! Preceding Virginia in death by her Husband, Don Stealy, her parents, her older brother Charles and a daughter-in-law, Ellen Stealy.
Virginia is survived by her sister, Sharlene (Paul) Warren, of Arizona; her four children, Clark (Belinda) of McGregor, Kevin (Ellen) Stealy of Brainerd, Brenda (Peter) Pickar of Staples, and Lisa Stealy of Aitkin; 13 Grandchildren, 22 Great-Grandchildren, and three Great-Great-Grandchildren. She loved every one of us and was so delighted with the birth of each Grandchild, Great Grandchild and Great-Great Grandchild! Virginia worked, in her youth, as a nanny and housekeeper for the Dr. Nixon family. As an adult she was a bookkeeper for her Husband's business, Stealy's Towing & Repair and Crane Service. Virginia also volunteered at Immanuel Lutheran Church and at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby. Don and Virginia enjoyed many vacations together. They traveled all around the USA and Canada. Don and Virginia and family enjoyed every other Christmas in Tucson, AZ at her Sister Sharlene and brother-in-law, Paul's home. Please join us to celebrate her life on Saturday, October 12th at 1pm at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. Visitation is one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. mArrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. We will always carry your memory in our hearts.
