Walter C. Hoffman age 68 of Riverton died on October 24, 2015 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. He was born on November 10, 1946 in Minneapolis to Clyde and Dorothy (Lockhart) Hoffman. Walt married Carol Ann Johnson on December 17, 1966 in Minneapolis. He was a US Navy veteran. He was an Industrial Arts educator with the Elk River and Onamia School Districts with 27 years of service. He was a member of Park United Methodist Church in Brainerd.
Survivors include his wife, Carol; 1 son, Michael (Michelle) Hoffman of Brainerd; and six grandchildren.
Preceding Walt in death are his parents; 1 son, Matthew Hoffman and 2 sisters, Sandra Rosove and Christy MacIntosh.
Funeral services will 11 am on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the Park United Methodist Church in Brainerd. Burial will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls with military honors. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday.
