Walter Dwight Priest
January 3, 1943 — January 20, 2022
Walter Dwight Priest, age 79 of Aitkin died on January 20, 2022 at Region’s Hospital in St Paul.
He was born in Highland Park, Michigan on January 3, 1943 to Harold and Goldie (Nichols) Priest. Walter was a former employee of the Grand Casino Mille Lacs.
Walter is survived by close friends Roberta Auger and Ellen Auger of Aitkin.
Preceding Walter in death are his parents and one son Kevin Priest.
A Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the Community Alliance Church in Garrison. Military honors will be presented by the Garrison VFW. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
