Warren Clarence "Charlie" Franz age 89 of Crosby died on January 28, 2012 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. He was born on March 2, 1922 in Dean Lake Township to Conrad and Mary (Johnson) Franz. Warren was a former employee of M.A. Hanna Mining, Land O'Lakes Turkey Plant and the Deerwood Rice Plant. He was a Lifelong farmer on the family farm in Dean Lake Township. Survivors include Sister-in-law, Loretta Franz of Crosby and nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death are his parents, 1 brother John Franz and 2 sisters Ann and Veronica Janzen. Funeral services will be 11 am on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery in Aitkin. Friends may call on Saturday 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Saturday. Arrangements are with The Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
