Wayne Lindberg

Wayne Darrel Lindberg age 70 of Ironton died on February 12, 2012 at his home. He was born in Canby, MN to William and Della (Fredricks) Lindberg. He married Susan Hearnen on December 10, 1960 in Canby. Wayne farmed in Canby for 16 years, moving to Crosby in 1976. He worked construction until he retired from the Irondale Township. He enjoyed his woodshop, fishing and spending time with family. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Susan; 2 sons, Kevin (Sharon) Lindberg of Aitkin and Mark (Kristen) Lindberg of Ironton; 1 daughter, Lisa (Scott) Sicora of Deerwood; 6 grandchildren, Jon (Veronika) Lindberg, Sara Lindberg, Erin (Anthony) Koop, Kyle Lindberg, Jacob Sicora and Miranda Sicora and 1 great granddaughter, Lorraine; 1 brother,Delmar (Dorothy)Lindberg of Coon Rapids. Preceding him in death are his parents and 1 brother, Loran Lindberg. Funeral services will be 11 am Thursday, February 16, 2012 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby. Friends may call on Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm and 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home on Thursday. Burial will be at the Woodland Cemetery in Irondale Township 11 am on Friday.
