William Harry Colclough

William Harry Colclough age 76 of Crosby died on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Heartwood Senior Living in Crosby. He was born on August 22, 1938 in New Haven, Connecticut to Elmer and Emma (Poulton) Colclough. He married Sandra Lea Wolford on June 25, 1994 in Deerwood. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was a graduate from the Boston University in Boston, MA with a degree in communications. Bill owned and operated several businesses in Santa Rosa, Merced, and Napa California. All within the field of communications; KNTO Radio Station, KVRE Radio Station, an answering service, Redwood Cellular, Inc., California Communications, Inc. and Sonoma Communications, Inc. Bill was active in the Boy Scouts of America, attained the Rank of Eagle Scout and he was a member of the Santa Rosa Rotary Club.

Survivors include his wife, Sandy; sons, Thomas (Sara) Colclough of Anaheim Hills, CA and Andrew Colclough of Santa Rosa, CA; step son, Derek (Lori) Palmer of Santa Rosa, CA; Step daughter, Sherrie (Darrin) O'Brien of Sebastopol, CA; grandson, Daniel Colclough of Anaheim Hills, CA; step grandchildren, Shane and Ryan Palmer of Santa Rosa, CA, William and Sydney Palmer and Megan O'Brien of Sebastopol, CA; mother-in-law, Edna Wolford of Crosby and several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Iron Hub. Burial will be at the Santa Rosa Memorial Park in Santa Rosa, CA. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5 to 7 pm at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby and 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Thursday.
