William Edward “Bill” Dangers, age 73 of Aitkin, passed away on May 6, 2026 at his home. He was born on May 19, 1952 in Crosby to William and Laverne (Greenhagen) Dangers Sr. Bill was united in marriage to Vicky Kessler on May 27, 1978 in Iron Hub.
Bill was a retired employee at Graphic Packaging in Crosby with 35 years of service; he was a current chairman/supervisor with the Rabbit Lake Township Board for 17 years. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Iron Hub, holding many administrative duties with the church. Bill was an avid outdoor sportsman, enjoying softball, bowling and golfing. He loved spending time with his wife, kids and grandkids and having family get-togethers was very important to him.
Bill is survived by his wife, Vicky; two daughters, Jill (Derek) Bentson of Iron Hub and Jennifer (Chris) Orpen of Aitkin; two brothers, Jerry “JD” Dangers and Don Dangers both of Iron Hub; one sister, Linda “LD” (David) Danielson of Iron Hub; five grandchildren, Cole (Jasmine), Chase (Hannah), Owen, Kyson and Aria; two great grandchildren, Gabriel and Brynlee.
Preceding Bill in death are his parents, William and Laverne Dangers.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2026 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Iron Hub. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 13th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and on Thursday one hour prior to the service all at the church (26535 Iron Hub Rd, Aitkin, MN 56431). Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
