William Thomas Flagg

William Thomas Flagg age 96 of Emily died at his home on August 4, 2016. He was born in Charleston, West Virginia on June 5, 1920 to Conrad and Carrie (Gough) Flagg.
Bill was a US Navy veteran serving during WWII. Bill was a member of St. Emily's Catholic Church in Emily and the 4th Degree Knights of Columbus. He was retired Chicago Police Officer and owner and operator of Flagg's Resort on Mary Lake in Emily.
Survivors include his wife, Eva; one daughter, Patricia Owens of Chicago, IL; one step daughter, Sherrie Cooke of Pequot Lakes; two stepsons, Charles (Kathy) Cooke of Fridley, and Michael Cooke of Kyle, TX; two grandchildren, four step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at St. Emily's Catholic in Emily. Burial will be at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the church on Wednesday. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
