Albert "Al" Tidhome

Albert Tidhome, age 85 of Deerwood on April 19, 2022 at Aitkin Health Services. Al had suffered a number of strokes.  He was born on October 4, 1936 in Bennett, WI to Joseph and Florence (VanCauteren) Tidhome.  Al was a U.S. Army veteran.  He married Jean A. Taylor on December 13, 1969 in Crosby.  He was an avid sportsman, enjoying hunting and fishing and spending time outside on his property.

Al is survived by his wife Jean; one daughter, Jeanette (Tim) Taylor Reay of Belle Plaine; one brother, Jack Tidhome of Solon Springs, WI; and two sisters, Nellie Kilcher of Chippawa Falls, WI, and Janice Wells in Camanche, IA.  Preceding Al in death are his parents.

A Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2021 at the Walter Scott Erickson Post #557 in Deerwood with Military honors. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the post.  Burial will be at the Bay Lake Township Cemetery.
