Obituary

Anne Lynn (Hasskamp) Sambar, 73, of New Berlin, WI passed away on September 15, 2022 after a short battle with cancer at Elmbrook Hospital in Brookfield, WI.

Anne was born on September 22, 1948, in Brainerd, MN, to the late Robert and Donna (Denis) Hasskamp. She graduated from Crosby-Ironton High School in 1967. Anne and Sam were united in marriage on May 27, 1978 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Crosby. She worked as a flight attendant for 18 years.

Anne and Sam enjoyed traveling the world. They made multiple trips to Haifa, Israel to visit Sam’s family. Anne dedicated her life to living, laughing, loving and bringing joy to family, friends and strangers who needed compassion and support. Her selfless spirit of encouragement and generosity as a wife, sister, daughter, aunt, godmother, cousin and friend were a true blessing and gift from our loving God to us.
