Carole Joanne Brix

Carole Joanne Brix, age 76 of Cuyuna died on June 19, 2022 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis. She was born in Richmond, MN on January 30, 1946 to John and Hildegard (Arceneau) Lemke.  Carole married Lloyd Brix on February 5, 1964 in Minneapolis.  She was a retired employee of the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center with 25 years of service, and the Subway and Holiday in Crosby.  Carole was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby.  The light of Carole’s  life was her grandchildren.

Carole is survived by her husband Lloyd; two sons, Scott (Shelly) Brix and Cory (Jackie) Brix all of Deerwood; one brother, Kevin (Marlene) Lemke of Avon; four sisters, Betty (David) Klug of Winstead, Stella Bredeck of St. Cloud, Susan (Jerry) Funk of Long Prairie and Annie (Joe) Funk of Albany; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Preceding Carole in death are her parents; four brothers, Carl, Jim, David, and Eugene Lemke and one sister, Louella Lehner.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, July 1, 2022 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Friday.  Interment will be at a later date. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
