Clarice Ardell Loseth, 89, North Branch, MN, died September 4, 2021 in Edina, MN.
Beloved Daughter, Sister, Mother and Grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Clarice was born in Crosby, MN, to J. Rudolph and Lela (Bayliss) Pihlaja. She grew up in Manganese, was a 1948 graduate of Crosby-Ironton High School and attended Brainerd Junior College. She married Charles G. Loseth in 1950, in Brainerd. In 1955 they moved to Southern California where she was employed as a secretary in the Coast Community College District for 28 years, the last 19 of which she was secretary to the President of Golden West College in Huntington Beach. She returned to Minnesota (North Branch) in 1984 (After her divorce from Charles) and worked as a secretary in real estate offices in Chisago City until Retirement. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, North Branch Ward.
She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law; Charles and Cynthia Loseth, Fair Oaks, CA, Mark and Debra Loseth, Bodfish, CA, and David Loseth, Vernonia, OR; three brothers and two sisters-in-law Howard and Gabriele Pihlaja, Brainerd, MN, Gary and Ruth Pihlaja, Cameron Park, CA and Robert Pihlaja, Herndon, VA, and seven grandchildren; Charles (Wife Kelly), Michael (Wife Brittney), Amy (Husband Tom), Lela (Husband Travis), Amber, Dira and Melissa (Husband Billy).
Eleven great-grandchildren; Madeline, Charles, Ava, Dagny, Finnegan, Easton, Damian, Benjamin, Preston, Declan and Dakota.
Graveside servicel will be held on October 16, 2021 at Noon, Lakewood Cemetery, Crosby, MN with Bishop Dennis Howard officiating. Arrangements made by Koop Funeral Home, Crosby, MN.
