Donna E. Roepe

Donna E. Roepe, 80-year-old resident of Brainerd, MN passed away September 13, 2022 at the Elim Care Center in Milaca, MN.  A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Koop Funeral Home.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Donna was born on January 12, 1942 in Rockford, IL to Robert Sr. and Dorothy Greenhow.  She was united in marriage to Stephen “Steve” Roepe on June 19, 1965 in Brainerd.  They moved to Baudette, MN where Donna was active in her church, homemaker’s club, and volunteered at the American Cancer Society.  After the children left home, she worked at the Lake of the Woods Tourism Bureau.  When Steve retired, the couple moved to Nokay Lake where Donna enjoyed all of the resort families coming to visit.  She started many new hobbies.  Donna will be remembered for her beautiful smile, warm embracing hugs, and her cheerful demeanor.

Donna is survived by her loving husband, Steve Roepe; children, William H. (Kim) Roepe, Elizabeth V. (Daryl) Brasel; grandsons, Logan Roepe, Samson Brasel; siblings, Robert Jr. (Nan) Greenhow, Diane Carol (James) Beard; many aunts; uncles; cousins; nieces; and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; in-laws, Harold and Virginia Roepe.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.

Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
