Ellen Marie Stealy

Ellen Marie Stealy, age 68 of Brainerd died on December 5, 2020 at the Good Shepherd Memory Cottages in Sauk Rapids.  She was born in Monticello on April 2, 1952 to Stanley and Donna (Lanser) Anderson.  She graduated from the Big Lake High School, class of 1970. After graduating she went on to Business School in St. Cloud.  Ellen married Kevin Stealy in Baxter on January 15, 1983.  She was an employee of Essentia-St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd in surgery and sterile processing with 38 years of service.  Ellen was a union steward and adjutant for the DAVA in Brainerd.

Ellen is survived by her husband Kevin; one son, Jason (Kristy) Engholm of Stafford, VA; her mother, Donna Anderson of Becker; five brothers, Ed (Colleen) Anderson of Princeton, Ron Anderson, Joe Anderson, Martin (Janet) Anderson and Randy Anderson all of Big Lake; one sister, Cheri Roelke of Ramsey; two grandchildren, Matthew and Nathan Engholm.

Preceding her in death are her father, Father-in-law, Donald Stealy and Sisters-in-law, Melody Anderson and Jeanine Anderson.

A private family service is being held. Burial was at the Hope Lutheran Cemetery in Orrock.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
