Florence Leona Snook, age 94, of Crosby died on March 8, 2022 at the Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby. She was born in Mountain Lake on February 17, 1928 to Eilert and Gerdena (Siefkes) Strenge. Florence married Donald Ray Snook on April 3, 1950 in Mountain Lake. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby.
Florence is survived by five daughters, Sandra (John) Taylor of Deerwood, Carol (Ken) Rood of Aitkin, Karen (John) Rosecrans of Deerwood, Patty (Jerry) Horazdovsky of Andover and Sherie (Art) Rogers of St. Paul; daughter-in-law, CeCe Snook of Crosby; sisters-in-law, Loris Strenge, Grace Strenge, Evelyn Swenson and Jackie Snook; brother-in-law, Curtis Snook; fifteen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
Preceding Florence in death are her parents; her husband, Donald; one daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Harlan Johnson; son, Kenneth Snook; grandson, Matthew Kenneth Snook; great grandson, Jackson Vinje Taylor; six brothers, George, Dick, Calvin, Eilert, Lawrence and John Strenge and six sisters, Gretchen Huebsch, Dena Carlson, Josephine Penner, Evangeline Harder, Annabelle Olson and Margaret Rosenberg.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. A visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby and one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.
