Gary Lee Geyer

Gary Lee Geyer, age 67 of Crosby passed away on January 22, 2021.  He was born on

January 3, 1954 in Owatonna, MN to Leo and Esther (Bettin) Geyer. He grew up in Crosby, graduating from Crosby-Ironton High School.  He went on to study Horticulture/Landscaping following graduation, spending most of his working days doing landscaping. He took great pride in his landscaping projects which showcased his creative and artistic abilities.

Gary married Luciana (Lucy) Blanchette on July 6, 1989 in Trommald.  He is survived by his step-daughters, Tracy (Tom) Shannon and Tammy Freeberg; 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; Lucy’s parents, Gilbert and Georgette Blanchette;  sisters, Jeannie Kreslins, 

Diane (Jim) Paulson, Mahela (Gary) Lester, LaRae Geyer and LeAnn VanDerSchaegen; brothers, Darwin (Marcia) Geyer, Thomas (Rebecca) Geyer and Timothy (Irene) Geyer; sisters-in-law, Joannie (Clifford) Swenson, Susan Geyer, Pam Mosher, Sunday (Pat) McDermott, Renee (Don) Weirick, Marie (Jim) Martinez and Marietta (Jeff) McGaha. Gary is also survived by his nieces and nephews and many special friends.

Preceding Gary in death is his beloved wife Lucy, his step son Jamie Robinson, his parents, Leo and Esther Geyer;  brothers, Darrell Geyer, Dalmer Geyer, Fredrick Geyer, and Kevin Geyer;  brother-in-law, Roland Hukriede and sister-in-law, Antoinette Lee; nieces and nephews, Antony Kreslins, Cory Kreslins, Shari Hukriede, Anthony Geyer, Melissa Lester, Jennifer Geyer,  Melinda Evans and Angela Thompson. 

A Memorial Service/Celebration of Life will take place at a later date due to COVID restrictions.
