He attended St. Paul TVI and learned his trade as a Pipefitter/Steamfitter. This year he would have received his 50th year service pin.
He was united in marriage to Grace Underdahl on June 30, 1973. They raised their family in White Bear Lake, MN. They enjoyed their time at Mille Lacs Lake fishing for Walleyes. John was a maple syrup hobbyist and could hardly wait to hang buckets every spring. He was a hard worker and seemed to be able to fix most anything. He liked helping out when he could.
John was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David and Jim; his in-laws, Ervin and Lenora Underdahl, and infant son, Steven John.
He is survived by his loving wife Grace, of nearly 50 years; sons, Mark (Christina) and Nick (Trisha); sisters-in-law, Linda Iverson, Ruth (Russ) Furland, Alice (Duane) Bromeland and many nieces, nephews, dear friends, family and relatives.
