June Ione Roiger

June Ione Roiger, age 84 of Garrison died at her home on November 23, 2022.  She was born on March 12, 1938 in Mountain Lake, Minnesota to Clarence and Cleo (Smith) Holyer.  June married Francis Roiger on April 29, 1957 in Comfrey.

June was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church and the Ladies Guild of Our Lady of Fatima in Garrison, the Mille Lacs Lions Club and the Walter Scott Erickson American Legion Auxiliary #557 in Deerwood.

June is survived by her husband, Francis; three sons, Ronald (Catherine) Roiger, John Roiger and James (Lisa) Roiger; two daughters, Linda (Donald) Benham and Donna Chlan; one sister, Mary Kroplin;  nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

Preceding June in death are her parents; two sisters, JoAnn Dawson and Margaret Svalland; and son-in-law, James Chlan.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Garrison.  Burial will be at the Garrison Community Cemetery.  A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.  Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
