Obituary
Marcella M. “Marcy” Stanich, age 102 of Deerwood died on February 22, 2022 at Bethany Good Samaritan in Brainerd. She was born in Brainerd on January 18, 1920 to Joseph and Bertha (Rappel) Rasch. She attended elementary school at St. Francis in Brainerd and graduated from Washington High, class of 1937. Marcy was a retired teller with Unity Bank in Crosby. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby.
Marcy is survived by one son, Greg (Dee) Stanich of Ironton; daughter-in-law, Gwen Stanich of Minneapolis; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Preceding Marcy in death are her parents; husband, Gene; one son, Joe and two sisters, Katheryn Clough and Dorothy Weiss.
A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 23, 2022 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Crosby. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at the Lakewood Cemetery in Crosby. A visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
