Obituary
Robert Alexander “Bob” Bodle, age 93 of Emily died on March 3, 2023 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. He was born on February 19, 1930 in Ross Lake Township to Leonard and Carol (Huges) Bodle. Bob was a U.S. Navy Korean War veteran. Bob married Margarette Frink on May 4, 1934 in Fairfield Township.
Bob is survived by two sons, Marlen (Sandra) Bodle and Rory (LuAnn) Bodle all of Emily; two daughters, Robyn Monson of Hibbing and Melissa Boyer of Plymouth; one brother, Jack Bodle of Longview, WA and two sisters, Eva Starry of Crosby, and Donna Hite of Emily.
Preceding Bob in death are his parents, his wife Margarette "Mugs"; two brothers, Albert and Arthur Bodle and two sisters, Elizabeth McCoy and Charlotte Frink.
A Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily with military honors presented by the Myrin-James American Legion Post #443, Ironton. Arrangements are with the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.
