On December 4th, at 94 years old, God called Bob home. Bob was hospitalized (for the 1st time in his life) with a brief stint of Covid before being released home. Bob passed away exactly as he wished. Peacefully asleep in the home he loved so much.

They spent 71 wonderful years together raising a loving family and entertaining too many friends to count. With Joyce by his side, he started Print Craft Inc. in their basement which became a highly successful commercial printing company. Their additional business endeavors included building the Dairy Queen of Garrison MN, and selling Skeet’r Beat’r MN motorized roll up screens, and FreeTime Trailers. Bob and Joyce spent many happy years in St. Anthony Village where they raised their kids. They moved to Bay Lake to retire. Bob was an avid downhill skier (from Winter Park, CO to a glacier in Norway!), golfer, and loved tennis, (and his tennis buddies!) Bob and Joyce enjoyed travelling with family & many of their treasured friends, through much of Europe and the U.S. He was an active member of SagaTun Lodge 1-018, Sons of Norway and loved his lutefisk dinners. Bob was also a member of the Deerwood Lions, NE Kiwanis Club, and the Bay Lake Improvement Association. They were members for many years at Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church in NE Minneapolis and are now members of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby, MN.
Bob was known for his quick wit and that twinkle in his blue eyes when he was teasing you. He loved Jesus and taught us all to love Him too. The love he always showed for his wife and their marriage was always an example to live up to. His legacy will live on in all who loved him. We will miss him at our annual lefse making. We will also miss his hugs, his humor, his support, and his love which he gave so generously. We will miss him tearing up while saying the family prayer and how he always thanked God for his loving wife and their wonderful family, now at 32 total! He was always amazed by the new babies and entertained by them as they grew. Through life’s ups and downs, tragedies, and triumphs, he was a steady presence, a great listener, and a great hugger. We will all miss that wave goodbye and that twinkle his eyes. We pray it is not long before we are all together again.
Come Lord Jesus!
