Virginia Dare Prushek

Virginia Prushek, age 87 of Crosby died on August 31, 2022 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby. She was born in Tyrrell County, NC on December 26, 1934 to Ernest and Birdie (Bass) Vanderberry. Virginia married Arnold Prushek on August 8, 1954 in Norfolk, VA. Together with her husband Arnie they owned and operated Prushek Plumbing and Heating. She was an auxiliary member of the Myrin-James American Legion Post #443, Ironton. 

Virginia is survived by one son, Ron (Teri) Prushek of Crosby; two daughters, Leeann Kelley (Brad Hanson) of Crosby and Kathy (Bill) Laughton of Cuyuna; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. 

Preceding Virginia in death are her parents, husband Arnold; and son-in-law, Keven Kelley. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2022 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Crosby. A visitation will be held on Friday, September 23rd at Koop Funeral Home in Crosby from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.
