Wanda Irene Peterson

Wanda Irene Peterson, age 79 of Brainerd died on August 22, 2019 at the Cuyuna Regional Care Center in Crosby surrounded by her family.  She was born on May 4, 1940 in Brainerd to Edward and Ella (Kohl) Tomberlin.  

Wanda will remain in the hearts of: one son, Garth (Katie) Tretter of Brainerd, two daughters, Carrie (Jeff Olsen) Tretter of Ironton and Laurie Berg of Baxter; one step son, Jim (Linda) Peterson of Deer River; one step daughter, Joanne Schellenburg of Stewart, MN  ; one brother, Patrick Tomberlin of Gulf Port, FL; one sister, Glenda Moser of Brainerd; five grandchildren, Lindsey (Shawn Larson) Erickson, Tyler Tretter, Allie (Robert) Koval, Conner Tretter and Toni Tretter and four great grandchildren, Amelia Tretter, Raymond Koval, Holden Larson and Roman Koval.

Preceding Wanda in death are her parents; her husband, Burton Peterson; three sisters, Leona Dircks, Shirley Flicek, Faye Muehlbauer; two brothers, Virgil and Wayne Tomberlin and son-in-law, Thomas Berg.
